During my stay in Iceland, I crossed the continental rift between North America and Eurasia, where the two tectonic plates are drifting apart. This experience moved me deeply. At night, I dreamt of dinosaurs that once lived in this area of Iceland. In fact, there were never any dinosaurs in Iceland. The sculpture attempts to capture one of the dinosaurs from my dream. 

The surface was carbonized using the Shou Sugi Ban technique and finished with shellac.
